ADLC AI-driven software engineering lifecycle

Requirement to release, and everything after.

Your engineers already write code with AI. Talopen carries that speed through the rest of the lifecycle, from the spec before the code to the release after it and the support once it is live. We deliver it on your stack and your model keys, and your people make the calls that matter.

Works alongside the coding agents your team already uses: Claude Code, Cursor and Copilot.

The gap

Your team adopted coding agents. The rest of the lifecycle is still waiting.

The brief is a paragraph

Agents guess at what nobody wrote down, so the new screen never quite matches the forty built before it.

The code has to stay home

Many teams cannot send source to an endpoint they did not choose, and bundled models hide what each task really costs.

The loop stops at a pull request

Testing, release and production support still land on people, with no governed path connecting them.

Talopen closes each gap with one solution per stage, built to work together. See how the loop fits →

One story, all the way through

Watch a single request travel the whole lifecycle.

This is the loop on one real-shaped story: guest checkout for a web store. Each stage hands the next one exactly what it needs.

loop closed

Example story with illustrative values. The last card is where the loop closes: a production issue becomes the next planned piece of work.

The lifecycle

One loop, five stages, a person at every risky edge.

Each solution covers one stage well and stops exactly where it should. Together they cover the whole path a change takes, and what happens to it once it is live.

When something breaks in production, TIER0 sends the fix back to TaloSpec and TaloShip as new work. The loop closes on itself.

01 Plan

TaloSpec

Specs your agents can actually build from.

TaloSpec reads up to four repositories along with your documents, recordings and chat threads, and joins them into one map of the product. It asks only what it cannot work out for itself, then writes ten Markdown spec files and clickable mockups for your coding agent to build from.

  • Grounded in the real repository, so a new screen matches the forty built before it.
  • A skipped question becomes a logged assumption that everyone can see.
  • Eight stages, from intake to spec files, and each one waits for a person to approve it.

Where it stops. It writes no code and never approves its own work.

02 Build

TaloCode

Agents that never leave your editor.

One request becomes a reasoning loop and the agents the task actually needs. A conductor brings in research, code, test, debug and docs agents, then merges and checks what they return. No model is bundled, and nothing leaves the developer’s machine.

  • Four ways to run: one-shot, ask and plan, delegated, or an eleven-stage assembly.
  • No tool runs before the gatekeeper checks it, and an approval that times out is denied.
  • Every run is kept on disk and can be replayed line by line.

Where it stops. It stays inside the workspace. Pipelines and deployments are not its business.

03 Deliver

TaloShip

Stories in. Running software out.

TaloShip plans the story, runs developer, tester, reviewer and DevOps agents in parallel, fixes what breaks and ships through the pipeline you already run. Every step is checkpointed, so a crash picks up exactly where it left off.

  • Starts from Jira, Azure DevOps, Linear, a webhook, a schedule or a chat command.
  • Tests run as work lands, and the evidence is kept for whoever reviews it.
  • Every change gets a risk score. Above your policy line, a person approves.

Where it stops. At the dev environment. It triggers your CI/CD and never replaces it.

04 Release

TaloGate

Release on evidence, not optimism.

TaloGate governs what moves past dev. It gathers the evidence a release carries, from test results to risk scores and approvals, and records a clear decision with the reasons behind it.

  • One view of everything in a release and whether it is ready.
  • Every decision is kept with its reasons, ready for audit.

Where it stops. It makes the call. Your release process still does the shipping.

05 Run

TIER0 for Engineering

Today’s incident becomes tomorrow’s fix.

When something breaks in production, TIER0 triages the ticket, resolves what it safely can and escalates the rest with the full story attached. Fixes go back into TaloSpec and TaloShip as new work, through the same governed pipeline that built the software.

  • Tickets and incidents handled at tier zero, before anyone has to be paged.
  • Escalations arrive with the history, the release and the likely cause.
  • Every fix re-enters the lifecycle, so nothing is patched in the dark.

Where it stops. People own every escalation. TIER0 does the groundwork so they can act fast.

Your keys, your models

Switch the model. Nothing else changes.

Every Talopen solution runs on the provider you choose and the keys you own. Swap providers tomorrow and the specs, agents, gates and evidence keep working exactly as they did.

Illustrative run. Token counts and costs depend on your provider and pricing.

taloShip / run ENG-482

Principles

What holds across every solution.

Your keys, your models

No model is bundled. Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, a gateway or open weights. Change providers tomorrow and nothing else has to change.

Every token on screen

Input, output and cost are counted per call, agent, run and project. You always know what the work cost.

A person at the risky edge

Gated stages, approvals that fail closed and policy-driven risk checks. AI moves fast, and people decide what matters.

Fits what you already run

Your editor, your tracker, your pipeline. Talopen plugs into them and never asks you to replace them.

Security and trust

Ready for your security review, from day one.

The questions your security team will ask have plain answers, because the design starts from them.

K

Your keys, never ours

Provider keys live in Key Vault or an encrypted local vault, and they are redacted from every log and export.

0

Nothing sent home

TaloCode keeps code, logs and transcripts on the developer’s machine. No telemetry leaves it.

I

Isolation by default

Tenant isolation is enforced at the row, and every agent works in its own branch or sandbox.

A

Every decision on record

An audit log and event journal capture what ran and why. Any run can be replayed from start to finish.

How we work

A clear path from the first conversation to every team.

01 Assess

Map where AI pays back first

We look at your engineering lifecycle, your tools and your backlog, and show you which stage will return the most, the soonest.

02 Prove

One real feature, end to end

A fixed-scope engagement on your own code and keys. You see the spec, the code, the evidence and the release call before committing further.

03 Scale

Roll out stage by stage

Our engineers in the USA and India work alongside yours on Talopen frameworks and accelerators, one team and one stage at a time.

Get started

Bring us one feature. We will show you the loop.

Slides only go so far. Bring us one real feature from your backlog and we will take it through the lifecycle on your repository, with your model keys, in a short fixed-scope engagement.

  1. 01Pick one featureSomething real your team needs to ship, not a toy problem.
  2. 02We run the loopSpec, code, tests and a release decision, built on your codebase and your keys.
  3. 03You keep all of itEvery spec file, change and piece of evidence is yours, whatever you decide next.
